So this is a combined haul over a few days from a few places. I got two things from Sephora online, and the rest I picked up at my local CVS. I haven’t used these so I can’t give a super in depth review, but I can give my first impressions.
This is my first Formula X nail polish, so I don’t have much to compare it to. Truthfully, I bought this exclusively for the color, I didn’t read any reviews on the formula. I saw some one wearing a super icy grey color and couldn’t find it anywhere, so I figured I’d give this a shot. I have polish on my nails right now but once it chips I will repaint my nails with this and see how long it lasts. Polish chips super easily on me for some reason so I am rarely impressed with longevity.
This was the main reason I wanted to put together an order from Sephora. I saw Gigi Ng (GG_LUXIOUS on instagram) rave about this. She does a lot of lip swatches and she says that this saves her lips. In the winter my lips get super dry and cracked and I spend most of my time covering them with Aquaphor, so I thought I’d try something a little more intense. This set comes with a lip mask and a balm to put on after. I am going to try it out some point this week and see how it changes my lipstick application and longevity.
I bought these because Kathleen told me. That’s really it. I got three of them, then had to go back for more because they were so great and cheap. They are super creamy and as of now have yet to chip. They are relatively inexpensive, and I hope that Wet N Wild adds a lot more colors to the line.
This is like white with a drop of tan in it. I haven’t worn this one yet, but it is such a unique color I can’t wait to try it!
I had to buy this because light pink is my favorite nail polish color of all time. Fiji by Essie has been a staple for me since freshman year of high school when I went to my first prom. I hope it doesn’t let me down.
This is another odd color that I don’t have in my collection. It is a reddish, mauvey color with a bit of pink in it.
This is the color I have on my nails at the moment, and I love it. It is an adorable mint green, which is another one of my favorite polish colors to wear.
A few times a year I get the urge to paint my nails black and be that girl, so I had to buy this one for those times. I hope it goes on pretty opaque because theres nothing worse than a runny black polish.
Lately I have been very into drugstore contour palettes. I love practicing contour when I’m alone and bored, but I feel bad using my nice products for practice (I know its stupid).
Dulce De Leche
This one has a light, pale pink highlight and an ashy brown contour powder. These are super buttery, they almost feel like cream. I really like this one, but I have so many like it that I will probably be giving it to my roommate who wants to get more into contouring.
This is my favorite one of the two. Mostly for the matte yellow shade. I’ve been really loving banana colors for under my eyes lately. It really wakes my face up without giving me that harsh white under eye look.
I wanted to find the Argan oil spray primer, but couldn’t so I settled for this. I want to try and put a drop of this in my more matte foundations to make them a little less drying.
I love these glosses, I already have a few of them but saw these and had to have them. Angel Food Cake is a classic mauve while Praline is a darker, more brown color. I love throwing these in my purse when I go out, and I love putting them over matte lipliners so add some extra shine.
After buying my first one of these, I had to come back for this one. This was the color I wanted the first time around but could’t find. It is a dark mauve pink color that is right in my wheelhouse. I have a feeling this is going to become a favorite of mine.
I bought two of these a week ago, and grabbed this one today when I saw it back in stock. I really like the formula of these, and this is a much more wearable color than the other two I have.
Let me know if you’ve tried any of these products and how you like it! Thanks for reading!!
