Sephora VIB Rouge 15% Off Sale

So twice a year Sephora gives their Insiders a 15% off code on everything. I love using the code to try out things I wouldn’t normally spend the money on. Its also a great time to stick up on holy grail items, especially the pricier ones. So this is what I got this time around, enjoy!

Sephora Collection Perfection Mist Airbrush Foundation in Fair $28.00

I have been dying to try a spray/airbrush foundation. The only other one besides this I could find at Sephora was the Dior one, and that one is 60 fucking dollars so no thank you. I thought I would start out with something much more affordable. I am still unsure the best way to use this. Do I spray it onto a brush/ beauty blender? Or do I spray it directly onto my face? Let me know!

Tarte Rainforest Of The Sea Water Foundation in Fair-Light Neutral $39.00

I was super intrigued by this product as soon as it came out. Tarte took a bunch of Youtube gurus on a vacation so they could spam us all with pictures using all the new Rainforest of the Sea products. Well it worked, I needed to try this. I don’t have any other foundations with a dropper tool like this, nor do I have any so water based. This color is a tiny bit light on me, but I can always add some darker foundation to it. I can’t wait to report back on how this works out for me!

Make Up For Ever Face and Body Liquid Foundation in Ivory 20 $43.00

“This unique gel formula comprised of more than 75% water delivers a natural result suitable for all skin types.”

I have been eyeing this product for a long time, ever since I fell in love with the MUFE Ultra HD Foundation, and then the stick. I think MUFE makes the most amazing, skin-like foundations on the market right now. They photograph beautifully because they have no SPF in them, and they never look cakey or patchy. I cannot wait to get this on my face.

Sephora Collection Beauty Amplifier Afterglow Primer + Luminizer $16.00

I have been loving my L’Oreal illuminizing primer, so I thought I would take it up a notch. The Sephora brand has been coming out with some really great products lately, so I thought that instead of going for a super pricey glowy primer like the ones from Burberry or Becca, I thought I’d try this one out. Its very reasonably priced at 16 bucks, so if I don’t like it, I won’t feel completely ripped off.

Sephora Collection Pore Perfecting Primer Mist $22.00

I wanted to try this out because I have always wanted to use a primer spray. I have a bunch of setting sprays, but I thought this was be cool to look into. Anything that claims to fix my pores automatically has my attention. I can’t wait to see how this changes the way my makeup sits on my face.

Tarte Rainforest Of The Sea Wipeout Color Correcting Palette $45.00

I feel like color-correcting has hit a new stride. This time 6 months ago, the only product in my field of vision to correct was the Bobbi Brown under eye corrector, and that was so expensive for almost no product. I have been in the market for a green, lavender, and orange concealer, and instead of buying them all, I figured I would try out this palette. I have very noticeable dark circles under my eyes (the orange), red spots that wont be covered up (the green) and some sallowness around my nose and cheeks (the lavender). Hopefully this works well for every one of my problems.

Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins Mineral Enriched Renewal Cream $43.00

“Skin fortifying vitamins, minerals and hydrators plus nature’s new crease release technology work overnight to help skin resist ‘pillow’ creases. Resurfacing ingredients help remove dry flaky layers to reveal brighter texture and clarity. Skin awakens looking rested, renewed and richly replenished.”

I bought this because I needed something heavy duty for my face at night. I wake up often feeling like my skin is dry and exhausted, and its not cute. I decided to take the plunge on this because of the discount, and how much Kathleen Lights raves about it. I like the idea that this does not just hydrate the skin, it also helps with the texture and and overall balance of it.

Drunk Elephant T.L.C Framboos Glycolic Night Serum $90.00

“I wanted something that didn’t exist…so I made it myself.”- Tiffany Masterson, Founder

This was the thing I was most hesitant/excited to try. Hesitant because it is almost 100 bucks, and excited because people said it was worth every penny. I have read countless reviews and watched a million Youtubers talking about how game-changing this thing is, so I grabbed my 15% code and took the plunge. I am going to start out using this 3x a week and see how it goes!

Let me know if you got anything during the sale! Thanks for reading!!

Glowingly yours,

Jess
