Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipsticks

This has been the year of Kat Von D Beauty, and for good reason. All of the products I have tried from Kat’s line have impressed me, and these lipsticks are no different. These were actually the first product from her that I tried, I have had these for over a year now. Some people find these drying, and I agree they aren’t the most moisturizing formula, but they last a long time and look very matte on the lips. So here is my review of the three colors I own! Enjoy!

La Femme $21.00

“matte bright coral pink”

So I realize that this isn’t called La Femme, but I am almost 100% sure that this is the same product, just with a name change. KVD is know for changing names last minute and with new releases. This color is such a bright, juicy coral color that looks perfect in the summer.

Lovecraft $21.00

“matte mauve pink nude”

This is my favorite of the three for sure. It is my perfect mauve-nude, with no warm undertones. This lasts all day on me and doesn’t dry my lips out at all if I use a lip balm or primer underneath.

Lolita $21.00

“matte dusty rose”

Contrary to what the name might have you believe, this looks nothing like the liquid lipstick called Lolita. This pulls much more red on me, and ends up looking more like a light terracotta red/pink than a dusty rose. This color can go on a little patchy at first, so you need a few coats, but once it’s on, it lasts a while.

The only bad thing I have to say about these lipsticks is about the packaging. I love the way it looks, but the caps come off way too easily, so putting these in my purse is a risk. They may have updated the packaging in the newer colors, but I’m not sure.

Let me know your thoughts on these lipsticks! Thanks for reading!!

Glowingly yours,
