Yellow powder has recently become a part of my make-up collection, and the more I experiment with it, the more I love it. I really can only use it when I am more tan, so if you have more medium toned skinned, check some of these out!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit Refill in Banana $14.00
This came with my contour kit, and it was my introduction to banana powder. This powder is so buttery and goes on so smooth. This is for sure my favorite yellow powder, because it is just white enough to put under my eyes to brighten things, and just yellow enough to really cancel out my dark circles. If you don’t want to buy the whole contour kit, these single pans are now available to buy!
Wet N Wild MegaGlo Contouring Palette in Caramel Toffee $4.99
The quality of this product is unreal, considering it is only 5 bucks. This can be a bit chalky, but once it is blended in, it looks so natural and lasts all day. If you are wanting to get into yellow powders but don’t want to spend a lot of money, go to your drugstore and pick this up.
NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Single in Cream $5.00
This is one of the powders from the NYX contour kit, and it is now available to buy alone as well. I am not super crazy about this powder. It can settle into the creases under my eyes if I don’t blend it enough, and it fades fairly fast from my skin. I would go for the Wet N Wild one over this if I were you.
Ofra Cosmetics Banana Powder Godet $12.00
I got this in a Boxycharm a few months back, and have slowly been working with it. There is a lot of kick up with this powder, but that’s what you get when you have a powder as buttery as this. I wish this came in a compact though, because I really don’t like digging out my z-palette just for this.
Let me know your favorite banana powders and how you use them! Thanks for reading!!
Glowingly yours,
Jess
