Glossier Revisited

After falling in love with the lip balm I bought a few weeks ago, I decided to try out more from Glossier’s skincare line. The whole brands reads as very young and fresh, which always catches my eye when it comes to skincare. I thought I would try out some of the face products, and here are my thoughts.

Milky Jelly Cleanser $18.00

I tend to stay away from foaming cleansers, as they often dry out my skin. When I saw this on the website, I got very excited, because the consistency seemed to be more like a serum that you rinse off. I love the way this feels on my face, it is very cooling and calming, but I also feel it cleansing my skin. I like using this in the morning before I apply my make-up, in conjunction with the other two products I bought.

Soothing Face Mist $18.00

Lately I have been loving face sprays, extra points if they smell like rose water. This one smells amazing and feels so light yet moisturizing on the skin. I have been spraying this on my face right after using the milk cleanser, and letting it soak in for a few minutes before moving on. I haven’t tried spraying my face with this later on in the day over my make-up, but I will soon.

Priming Moisturizer $25.00

This is my favorite of the three items I got. This feels so lightweight on the skin, but leaves it feeling super hydrated and plump. I have been using this also as a primer for my make-up and it has been working great. It reminds me a lot of the Too Faced HangoverX Primer that I love. This doesn’t have a strong scent at all, which is actually kind of nice in a face cream.

I love everything about this brand. I love the name, I love the packaging, I love what they stand for. I hope that they keep expanding the skin line, and soon I want to start trying out their make up products. I seriously suggest picking up a thing or two from Glossier before they blow up and sell out of everything.

Let me know if you’ve tried this brand at all and your thoughts. Thanks for reading!!

Glowingly yours,
