Becca X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette

$52.00 ($136.00 Value)

I cannot honestly tell you why I bought this. I ordered it during the initial surprise release on the Sephora app, and I am so very happy I did. This palette is so stunning I could die. Jaclyn, you really outdid yourself. The packaging is heavy enough to feel expensive and luxurious, but slim enough so I can travel with it. Oddly enough, the thing I was most drawn to in this palette was the nude blush. I don’t have any blushes from Becca and I have been dying to try them , so this palette was a great way to try both the regular formula and the shimmering formula.

Shimmering Skin Perfector

Champagne Pop (soft white gold with pinky peach undertones)

I already have the full size version of this, so I will probably give that to one of my friends. I love that the highlight shades are larger, because that is what you are really paying for when you buy from Becca. This is such a great shade, it is really flattering on so many different skin tones. This can look both subtle and intense depending on how you apply it.

Prosecco Pop (medium warm gold)

I enjoy hoarding true gold highlights, and this is my newest baby. I love wearing these shades at night when I go out, as they photograph really beautifully. I hope that Becca comes out with this shade as a permanent single highlight, because I think it is such a great alternative to Champagne Pop. They are very similar, but just different enough to compliment whatever skin tones Champagne Pop misses.

Mineral Blush

Amaretto (matte toasted almond)

This is my new favorite blush. It is pigmented enough to apply smoothly, but subtle enough to not need a super light hand. Nude blushes are so universally flattering to all skin tones and make up looks. I can easily look like a clown when I apply blush, but this color is truly foolproof.

Pamplemousse (matte warm coral pink)

I am trying my hardest to get more into colors like this for my cheeks. When I am a little tanner I am sure this will look much better on me, as right now it is a little too intense for every day wear. The formula and color are perfection though!

Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush

Rosè Spritz (soft peachy pink with pale gold shimmer)

I was sure I was going to like this shade the least as I tend to prefer matte blushes, but I have to say this is stunning. I love using this with a very light hand as a blush topper when I have nothing fancy on my eyes. This is very intense, so be wary!

If you love blushes and highlights, try to get your hands on this. I cannot wait for the next time I travel, as this is the perfect thing to bring with me instead of a million different face powders. If you have this, let me know your thoughts on it! Thanks for reading!!

Glowingly yours,

Have you compared the Champagne Pop original to the one in the palette? There’s been a lot of talk on the quality not being as good in this collection but I’m curious to see what the real difference are?

I have watched them next to each other and they feel and appear the same to me, but I am planning on doing a post comparing them once I have really worn the palette version on my face. I have no idea how the longevity is compared to the original, but I will update you!
