Mint Condition $29.00
I have been following Jeffree Star’s cosmetic line since all he had out was three shades of Liquid Lipsticks, and to see how far it has come is nothing short of inspiring. All this being said, I have never owned anything from the brand, as the colors that I usually want are sold out. When images of the new Skin Frosts were released, I knew I finally had to get my hands on something from the line. I am a highlighter junkie, and when I saw the ridiculous mint green shade, I knew I had to have it. I set an alarm on my phone, had all my information at the ready, and typed/clicked as fast as I could. After a minute long frenzy, Mint Condition was mine. Unfortunately I was still traveling when I ordered this so I had to wait an entire week to get my package, which shipped the same day as I bought it! Let’s get into a quick review.
Obviously I have to make a comment about how ridiculously huge this compact is. This packs a whopping 0.53 oz of product (to compare, Becca highlights have 0.28 oz), so your 29 bucks really go far. There is no way I will ever use that much highlight, but these are safe to use on the eyes so I can use it as a cool minty pop of color on the lower lash line.
I was very surprised by the formula of this product. I expected a normal powder highlight, but this is a bit different. It feels almost wet, but it is very hard to explain. It blends amazingly on the skin, and lasts all day long. Despite how green and crazy it looks in the pan, it looks a lot more subtle once it’s blended out on the cheeks.
I really love this product, and I want to get my hands on more of the shades. I have my eye on King Tut, which is a stunning gold color. Let me know if you’ve tried any of these highlighters out, and what your thoughts were. Thanks for reading!!
Glowingly yours,
Jess

I was thinking of getting it but I was worried it would be too pink/orange to be a highlight, how does the color look?

It is not orange at all! It has a touch of pink so it looks beautiful with a pink or coral blush. But most of what you see on the face is shine from the highlight
