L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation

L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation

This has been on everyone’s must have list ever since it came out a few weeks ago. It is the glowy, less intense sister to the Infallible Pro-Matte foundation that us oily girls love so dearly. My skin, especially in the summer, changes from day to day. Some days I need some serious coverage, and other days I just want a relaxed tint that let’s my skin peek through. I picked this up when I saw it in my local Target, hoping it would satisfy my picky skin’s needs. I have only worn it twice as of yet, but I already like it a lot. The original Pro Matte always bordered on too heavy on my face, and this is much thinner and natural looking. It isn’t so much “glowy” as it is sheer and luminous, which I am a fan of.

Creamy Natural

I always go for this shade in L’Oreal face products, and I picked right because this color suits me quite well. I might pick up a shade darker as well for when I get a little color in my face. The range is about as wide as the Pro-Matte, and as far as I can tell, the shades are the same for both, so it is easy to pick the right one.

L’Oreal has always been a pretty pricy drugstore brand, but I don’t mind paying a little extra when it comes to foundation.

Product Amount

1.0 oz

A standard, respectable amount of product for a foundation, no complaints here!

This has a sheer to medium coverage, and can be built up quite a bit before it starts to look caked on. If I don’t set this with powder, it has a luminous, natural finish. If I do set it, it dries to a nice satin finish, and it never looks flat.

I cannot speak much to how long this lasts as I have only worn it to my classes. Hopefully soon I can wear this for a full day and see how well it holds up. Glowy foundations always fade faster on me than matte finishes, so I don’t expect it to stay flawless all day, but I will update once I try it out some more.

Let me know if you’ve given this foundation a try, and what you thought about it!

Glowingly yours,
