Like half the things in my collection, I bought this because Kathleen Lights said I should. I am forever in pursuit of the perfect face powder, and this was a great stop along the way. Baked face products have always worked best for my skin, I find they give the most natural look. I like using this to set the concealer under my eyes, it really brightens up the area. This doesn’t cling to any dry patches on my face, but since it is so light it can leave a tiny bit of a white cast if I use too much.
While this shade is perfect for brightening, it can look a little too white if I use to much. I might buy a few shades darker next time around.
This is a pretty standard price for a face powder, and I really think it is worth the money. Just make sure to get a shade that matches your skin tone a bit better than I did.
I’ve found that baked powders tend to last much longer, maybe because they have much less fallout than regular pressed powders.
Let me know if you’ve tried any of the Mineralize Skin Finishes, and what your thoughts were.
