This has been at the top of the Sephora best sellers page for a good long while now, and it doesn’t seem to be leaving any time soon. Hourglass has blown up over the past year or so, becoming the new go-to luxury indulgence. This primer has gained a devoted cult following because of how airbrushed it is supposed to make your skin look under whatever foundation you choose. I picked this up about a year ago because I had to see for myself if it was as amazing as it was made out to be.
While I for me, this turned out to be a really great product, I don’t think it is nearly as universal as people think. If you have any dry patches, this will cling to them in a pretty noticeable way. This definitely did make my make up last all day, but I had to combine it with a mattifying primer to keep my shine at bay. This did a good job of blurring the large pores around my nose, and a lot of my foundations sats really beautifully on top of this.
This is a very steep price to pay for a primer, and I don’t see myself repurchasing this any time soon. I liked the effect it had, but it did not feel worth the ridiculous price tag to me.
Standard amount of product, but too little for the high price, in my opinion.
