This is my second month getting the Sephora box, and I was so excited to open it! I saw a few pictures online of what people got, so I already had a pretty good idea what products I was getting. I have included the link to and the prices of the full size versions of each of the items. Let’s get started!
A Ray Of Citrine
Notes: Lemon Blossom, Lotus Flower, Freesia, Dew Drop Accord, Precious Woods
While I love perfume, I am kind of tired of these little tiny samples. I realize that they are a great size for trying something out, but Sephora already gives these out all the time, so I have a whole drawer full of them! That being said, this is a really lovely scent. I have included the notes because I am terrible at describing scents, but I can tell you anything with Freesia always makes me happy.
Wash Your Step
I have been wanting to try out some more heavy duty face washes lately, for the days when I break out terribly. I love First Aid Beauty moisturizers and sunscreen, so I was really happy to see this brand in here. This cleanser has clay in it, which always screams “pore clearing” to me, and that’s exactly what I am looking for. I am a little nervous that this might be a tiny bit too intense for my skin, so hopefully it doesn’t irritate or dry me out. I will give an update once I have used this a few times.
The Ouai It Is
This was for sure the thing I was most excited to get! I have one product from Ouai that I just recently purchased (and will be reviewing soon!), and this was the thing I wanted to try next from this line. Because my hair is so long and thick, texturizing/salt sprays rarely do much, so I can’t wait to see if this makes a difference. Even if it doesn’t, I will probably just keep spraying it for the smell alone. The entire line of Ouai products all smell floral and amazing! The scent might be a tad strong for some, but there is nothing I love more than a scent that lasts in my hair all day.
All Pore The Best
So subscribers either got this or the original version of this primer, and I am very happy I got this one. I already have the original Photo Finish, and I am always looking for things to fix the large pores around my nose. I know some people have said that this can ball up under foundation, but I’ve never had any other pore erasing primers do that before.
Blot Off The Press
This always seemed kind of odd to me, so I am happy that I can try it out without having to spend a full 20 bucks on it! I love my Beauty Blender, I use it every day and nothing makes my foundation look more natural. This new sponge is supposed to work as a reusable, washable blotting paper substitute, which I find kind of intriguing. I love carrying around blotting papers, as I tend to become an oily mess as soon as I step outside in any season other than winter, but they can be a hassle. I use a few, so I go through a pack fairly quickly, and end up spending more on them than I want. I like the idea of having just one thing to bring with me that I can use again and again. It came with a small sample of the special cleanser that works best at cleaning the sponges.
This was the only thing I was a bit disappointed in, but only because I already have this sample from an old holiday set. People either got this or a sample of the liquid Hoola bronzer from Benefit, and I wish I had gotten that instead to be honest. I will probably be passing this along to my sister the next time I see her. I love the product itself, I just have no use for a second one!
Let me know what you got in your box and what your thoughts are! Have any of these products already? Let me know how you feel about them in the comments!
