This was my first powder highlight from Becca, and I bought it right after it was released. I wanted this because I was looking for a white highlight that didn’t have any noticeable gold reflects like my trusty NARS Albatross. This powder is very fine and blends really beautifully on the skin, leaving a brilliant sheen behind.
Pearl “soft luminous white”
The reason I feel this highlight is so unique is how balanced the undertone is. It doesn’t lean too gold or too silver (at least on me), which allows me to pair it with many different looks.
The downside to this shade is how small an audience it really suits. If you have a deeper skin tone, there is a good chance this will just look like a frosted stripe on your cheek. I am pretty pale, and this still only works for me when I haven’t been out in the sun for a while.
The price of Becca highlights will always hurt, but I really think they are worth it. The packaging is sturdy and aesthetically pleasing, the shades are beautiful, and the pan size is impressive. I now have two of the full sized powder highlights, and I don’t ever see myself hitting pan on either.
