NARS Bronzing Powder
This was my first big bronzer purchase, and it’s a classic! I always equated bronzers with looking orange and muddy, so I kept my distance. I finally decided to try my hand at adding some sun to my face, and I went all out with it: I bought the cult classic Laguna bronzer. When I first bought and swatched it, I was worried it would read way too red on me, but it really surprised me. While this product is by no means cool, it doesn’t look too orange or fake on the skin. When I use this, I dust it lightly around the edges of my forehead and on my cheeks with a big fluffy brush. I love using a big brush with this because it diffuses all the pigment to look like a real tan.
Price
$39.00
This may seem expensive, but keep in mind that not only are you getting a great quality bronzer, you are getting a whole lot of it. I always thought that this would be the same size as the NARS blushes, but it is a lot bigger. I love the pan size because I can get my whole brush in it which helps to avoid applying too much color making everything look blotchy.
Product Amount
0.28 oz
Maybe it’s because I’m not a huge bronzer person, but I really don’t see myself ever running out of this stuff. The pan size is huge and there is a great amount of product.
All in all I was not let down by all the hype surrounding this product. It is a great neutral shade with some shimmer but no chunks of glitter. If you are looking for a high quality bronzer and are willing to shell out some cash, this is the perfect product for you!
Let me know your favorite high end bronzers!
Glowingly yours,
Jess
