A few weeks ago I went into my nearby Ulta hoping to find the then brand new Too Faced Born This Way concealer, but instead I picked this up. I don’t have many Bare Mineral face products, so I wanted to give one a try. I was drawn to this because of the word ‘serum’ in the title. I have oily skin for the most part, but sometimes concealer can flake up under my eyes. I wanted something that was lightweight, but still creamy enough to keep my skin plump and moisturized.
This concealer has such a beautiful finish underneath my eyes, and despite how creamy it is, it hasn’t creased on me yet! A tiny bit of this goes a long way, so use it sparingly.
As much as I love it for concealing my dark circles, I am not crazy about how this works on blemishes. Because it is so creamy, it is hard to get it to last on a pimple or mark. If I set it immediately with powder it works better, but I will probably continue to use this exclusively under my eyes.
As far as high end foundations go, this is pretty inexpensive. Compared to something like the NARS Creamy Concealer which costs almost 30 bucks, this is a steal.
Now this is probably why it is relatively inexpensive: it does not have much product. The packaging itself is very small, with the applicator taking up way over half of it. Since a small dot is enough to cover a large area of skin, I can forgive the small about of product.
