I threw this in my cart at Ulta after seeing Kathleen Lights talk about it, and for only 6 bucks, you should too! Not only is this little baked trio a really great eye shadow, it also doubles as a stunningly vibrant highlight. The packaging is quite nice for a drugstore priced item, and the color scheme is perfection.
Dolce De Leche
All three of the shades in this trio could be used alone as either eye shadows or highlights, but my favorite way to apply this is to swirl my brush in all three colors. Mixing them creates a beautiful gold sheen that reminds me a lot of Becca’s Champagne Pop. Because this is meant to be used as an eyeshadow, it is very pigmented and intense, so a light hand is needed if you want a more natural looking highlight.
This is another great reason to pick this up: its crazy cheap! While $6 may seem like a bit much for a drugstore shadow, keep in mind that this has many different uses. I have only had it for a few weeks and I already feel like I have gotten my money’s worth.
The downside to this being an eyeshadow is the size. It can be a bit tricky to get your entire highlighting brush evenly into the colors sometimes, and you don’t get as much product as a regular face powder.
