If there is one thing Hourglass is good at, it’s making a luminous face powder. These Ambient Lighting Blushes are a blend of their crazy pigmented blush formula and the super popular Ambient Lighting Powders. I bought this color after seeing a review of it on Brightest Bulb in the Box. The packaging is really lovely and it’s sturdy enough to travel with. The formula is silky and lasts forever on my cheeks. This manages to look luminous and glowy without look unnatural or too shimmery.

Shade

Radiant Magenta

“golden fuchsia”

This isn’t magenta, but I can forgive the bad name because of how stunning this color is. I am not one to usually go for bright pink blush, but this is one of my favorites. This pink is surprisingly flattering for pretty much every look I’ve paired it with. The golden color that is marbled in makes the blush look fresh and bright without looking like an odd pink highlighter. This manages to be both natural and captivating at the same time.

Price

$38.00

And now we get to the downside of Hourglass products: the price. This is a pricey blush, but I really do think it is worth it. I don’t regret buying this at all!

Product Amount

0.15 oz

You get a good bit of product with this blush, and it has an almost baked texture which always makes a product last longer. I’ve had this for almost a year and I don’t see even a dent in it. I also love that the marbling isn’t just the top layer! No matter how many times I use it and swatch it, the pattern never disappears.

Let me know your favorite high end blush!

Glowingly yours,

Jess
