MAC Mineralize Skinfinish
I finally bought the cult classic highlight from MAC! For my birthday my boyfriend gave me a gift card, and I decided that it was time for me to add this stunner to my collection. I love the baked formula on the MAC Natural Mineralize Skinfinishes, so I wanted to try it out in the more intense shade. At first glance this looks like it would be too glittery on the skin to look flattering, but after I blended it out a bit I adored the sheen it gave my skin. This isn’t the most long lasting highlight I own, but with a setting spray I can get a good four to five hours out of this. I only like to use this on my cheekbones though, it is too intense for the bridge of my nose or my cupids bow.
Shade
Soft & Gentle
“gilded peach bronze”
When I see this, I think less of peach and more of a rose gold vibe. This color is beautiful and matches a lot of different make up looks. It can be built up to a very intense look (especially with a little Fix +) or blurred out for a subtle glow.
Price
$33.00
These are pretty expensive for MAC products, but I think it is definitely worth the money. It is cheaper than a lot of other mid to high end highlights though, so it won’t completely break your bank.
Product Amount
0.35 oz
This is good amount of product, especially considering that it’s baked which always lasts longer. For comparison, the Becca highlights are 0.28 oz of product, and the Laura Mercier Baked Matte Radiance powder is only 0.26 oz.
Let me know your favorite baked highlights!
Glowingly yours,
