I was hesitant to buy any of the Anastasia liquid lipsticks after hearing many people say they were drying or crumbly. When I saw this limited edition color though, I just had to grab it! I was really surprised by how much I liked the formula though. I tend to prefer thicker texture and this one is pretty thin. This can be a tiny bit drying but if I use a lip balm underneath there’s no problem. This applied very opaque and even in one layer, so I didn’t have to spend forever working on it. This is very long lasting, as most thin formulas tend to be. I also love that it leaves a natural looking stain on the lips when it starts to fade.

Shade

Allison

“pinky brown”

This is a tad bit darker than the colors I tend to reach for, but it is oddly unique. It has a beautifully balanced undertone, not too pink, not too brown. This would look flattering on a lot of different skin tones, and it pairs nicely with many different looks. It’s bold enough to wear alone with some mascara, but also muted enough to pair with a bolder eye look.

Price

$20.00

These are pretty moderately priced for a mid end brand like ABH. I doubt I would pay much more than this for one of these lipsticks though.

Product Amount

0.11 oz

This is a good amount of product for the price. You can get opaque color and coverage with one layer so you don’t have to build it up and waste product.

Let me know if you’ve tried any of these liquid lips from Anastasia and what your thoughts were!

Glowingly yours,

Jess
