Lavish Lashes

Lancome Hypnose Drama Instant Full Body Volume Mascara $27.50

I have been wanting to try out this mascara for a while now, but never wanted to pay the almost $30 price tag. Lancome is known for their fabulous mascaras, and this is supposed to make it looks like you have the thickest, fluffiest lashes around. I usually tend to prefer the sample sizes of mascaras, because I rarely find myself finishing an entire tube before it dries up. So far, this mascara has worked very well. It doesn’t flake off or smudge, but it can be a tiny bit clumpy.

The Prime Is Right

Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Smoothing Primer $17.00-$37.00

I already have this primer and love it, so I’m happy to have a back up for when I run out. This does a really great job of not only filling in my pores, but also with smoothing over any imperfections. If I have a lot of texture or a bad pimple, this makes a really even, smooth surface for me to put my foundation on.

Go The Extra Style

Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo $13.00-$23.00

When I ue a dry shampoo, I am looking more for something to absorb any oil, not really something to give me volume. I have very thick, long hair so I rarely get any volume from a product. I mainly use dry shampoo to make it look like I haven’t skipped a wash. This stuff smells great, dries up any grease and doesn’t leave a white or gray cast on my roots. It does give me a bit of volume in the front of my hair where it is shorter.

All In A Spray’s Work

Urban Decay All Nighter Make Up Spray $15.00-$31.00

I had a full bottle of this that I finished forever ago and just never repurchased because I got distracted by a million other sprays. I am happy to have this back in my collection though, because it does work wonderfully. This keeps my make up looking fresh for hours, and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin.

Red Between The Lines

Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain in Always Red $14.00

I have always loved this Cream Lip Stains, so I was excited to see this sample in my bag. I was kind of disappointed though in how tiny it is! This applies opaque in one swipe, and lasts through a rainstorm. Sephora just recently added a bunch of new shades to the line, so if you haven’t tried them out I suggest you go pick one up!

Next Level Nirvana

dsc_0892

Elizabeth and James Nirvana Rose $25.00-$85.00

I love the Nirvana line by E&J, my current perfume obsession is the Nirvana Bourbon! I hadn’t smelled this one in Rose yet, so I was happy to get this sample. I am usually not very excited for these little bottles, but this one smells so amazing I might just have to buy the rollerball!

Let me know if you liked your bag this month!

Glowingly yours,

Jess
