Buxom Single Shadow
After going back in forth for a few months, I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy this eye shadow. While I am partial to nude/brown shades, I wanted to break out of my comfort zone, and this is the perfect color to do that. This color first hit my radar after I watched this tutorial by Kathleen Lights. Purple is one of my favorite colors, so I wanted something lilac and iridescent to put all over my eyelids. This can be applied lightly for a subtle lavender shift, or packed on and built up to the color in the swatch. I find that this lasts much longer if I put it over a cream shadow, like a MAC Paint Pot or Maybelline Color Tattoo.
Shade
La-La-Lavish
“iridescent lavender”
If you are on the fence about this color, go see it in person. It is ten times more beautiful when its in front of you. I finally decided to buy this after swatching it on my hand in person at Sephora.
Price
$12.00
So I not only had to buy the shadow, I also had to buy the little compact to put it in for $2. This was a pretty pricey single shadow, but I find it so unique and worth it. You get 0.05 oz of product also, which is a good amount for a little pan.
Let me know your favorite ethereal shades like this!
Glowingly yours,
Jess
