Glossier Haloscope Dew Effect Highlighter in Moonstone

Glossier Haloscope Dew Effect Highlighter

And my Glossier drawer continues to fill…

When I ordered my Cloud Paints (review coming very soon!) I added this to my cart. I love my Haloscope in Quartz, but I really wanted to try this shade out. This came in their holiday collection that I wish I had gotten my hands on! They just recently released it on its own because people loved it. Glossier has always been great about working with their customers and taking their ideas.

This highlight is much less subtle than Quartz, but it is just as beautiful. I love using this formula when I’m not wearing foundation because I always find it hard to use cream products over foundation, especially highlight. The oil based core makes this sink really naturally into the skin, so it never clings to any texture I might have. This lasts all day on my cheeks, especially if I use a setting spray.

It is pretty hard to capture in a picture, but this is a very frosty highlight with blue/pink reflects. It sounds like it would be too weird for the face, but it catches the light beautifully. This also looks great patted onto the eyes for a bit of a glossy eye sheen.

This is a reasonable price to me. I always can count on the quality of Glossier products, so I continue to give them all my money!

Let me know if you’ve tried any of the Haloscope shades!

Glowingly yours,
