NARS Highlighting Blush
People either love or hate the original NARS highlighting blush in Albatross. I personally love it, maybe because it was my first highlighter, maybe because I am a sucker for white/gold shift. Anyway, I have been wanting to try out this new highlight from NARS that originally came in a limited edition duo compact. They just recently added it to their permanent collection as a single blush, and I just had to have it.
This applies so beautifully and smooth on my cheeks. Some people have said that NARS highlights can be chunky, but this one is very finely milled and not glittery at all. This can be applied lightly for a subtle glow, or layered on for a very intense glow. This lasts a good while on my skin, and it doesn’t fall down my face leaving me with sparkle cheeks. I have been applying this over a cream highlight to really make it last all day.
When I heard the name Hot Sand I immediately thought of a very gold toned shade, but this has much more pink/peach in it than I thought. I love pink toned highlights, especially when they also have a more gold/champagne base. I cannot wait to wear this color all summer, it is perfect for tanned skin!
$30.00 for 0.16 oz
NARS blushes are always a blow to the wallet, but the pigmentation and quality are there without a doubt.
