New Wet N Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipsticks

Megalast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick $4.99

Wet N Wild has really been on point this past year! Their releases have all been amazing and on trend. The brand is so affordable, but they never seem to sacrifice quality. I have tried some of their liquid lipsticks before and always liked them, so I was excited to get my hands on these. I bought 6 of the 13 shades available online to test out, and I have been trying out each one multiple times.

Over all, the formula performed the same no matter the color. It applied very opaque in one swipe, and didn’t feel overly drying. It lasted a good 5 hours before it began to fade, and it didn’t crumble or flake away. I will give a few quick thoughts on each color below, so let’s get started!

Nudie Patootie

This color is way too ashy and light for my lips, but it is perfect for mixing with other liquid lipsticks. If you love extremely nude sand colors, this shade would be perfect for you! I am going to try combining this with a nude gloss to see if that tones down the nude-ness at all.

Rebel Rose

This is the most wearable of all the shades for me. It is a stunning nude pink that gives just enough color and life to my lips to wear with little to no make up. This shade also applied the best and lasted the longest on my lips. It felt very comfortable all day and never flaked.

Give Me Mocha

I was surprised by how dark this shade was, I also thought it would be a lot more brown. This turned out to be a very beautiful, vampy brick shade. It is going to be perfect for this upcoming fall season!

Coral Corruption

This color is so neon and fun, but very hard to pull off! It looks a lot more intense in person, and very coral/pink. It is great for the spring and summer, and will look even more beautiful against a bronzey tan.

Flame Of The Game

I love orange reds, and this is a perfect one. While very bright, it is somehow wearable and easy to pair with different looks. In the summer, I love wearing these colors with a lot of glowy bronzer and mascara, and not much else.

Goth Topic

I had to try out a dark color, because most drugstore vampy shades are patchy and terrible. This performed so much better than I expected. It was a little patchy, but after another coat it looked opaque and even. This one leaves a very long lasting red stain on the lips after removal, so keep that in mind!

Let me know if you’ve tried any of the other colors from the line!

Glowingly yours,
