Thoughts

For all the money I spend on make up, I sometimes neglect my hair, but I am turning over a new leaf! I religiously read Into The Gloss, and this hair scrub just keeps popping up across the Top Shelfies and must have product posts. Well a few weeks ago my sister and I were in Sephora and we decided we just had to see what all the fuss was about.

I have been trying lately to not wash my hair every day, because it strips my hair of all natural oils, but it has caused some dandruff and oil to build up on my scalp. This scrub is meant to not only clear all buildup away, but also exfoliate the scalp and prevent dandruff flakes.

I like using this in the shower before my usual shampoo. You only need a tiny scoop because once you add water it foams up a bit and spreads everywhere. I just use my fingers to scrub around my scalp until all of the salt grains have disintegrated, and then rinse before adding normal shampoo. I only like to use this once a week because too much scrubbing at the scalp can dry it out further.

This has made a huge difference in my hair health, no more dandruff! This works better for me than using any Head and Shoulders or other dandruff shampoos. Yes, it is very expensive, but I find it totally worth the splurge. I have used it for weeks and have hardly put a dent in the tub, so I see this lasting between me and my sister for a good while.

Let me know your favorite luxury hair care items!

Glowingly yours,

Jess

Interesting – I have been curious about these scalp scrub type products. I agree, I spend on all kinds of makeup but not so much on hair. I ragged on the Ouai hair mask after getting a sample because of the cost, then I bought it because it really is so good. But that is the only luxury hair item I have πŸ™‚ Thanks for sharing!!

I was just at Sephora today and I saw that they have a sample size of this scrub available, so if you want to try it out with investing a ridiculous amount of money, I would try that! Happy you liked the post!
