Thoughts

One of my favorite things about beauty is how often things change, and how new products are being released every day. With social media being the amazing platform it is, I can spend all day scrolling through different brand pages to find the newest, most interesting products available. My favorite place to visit is the Just Arrived section of the Sephora website, and that is exactly where I found this cool new cleanser!

Boscia’s charcoal line is very popular, especially for those with oily skin like mine, and this new addition is no exception. I collect facial cleansers like their stamps, and I am always willing to spend my money on new skincare. I was attracted to this product because of its unusual consistency and delivery method.

When you first open this up, you are given a little plastic pin to use to pierce the jelly ball and the latex balloon surrounding it. The balloon pops and you remove it, and then you are left with a very bizarre jelly ball of face wash! I kept part of the packaging to use as a holder for this, because storing it is a bit difficult.

To use this I just wet my face, splash a bit of water on the ball and lightly rub it on my cheeks and forehead. Just a tiny bit goes a long way, so just dab it around the face then use your fingers to lather it up and really massage it in. This leaves my skin feeling clean like a charcoal mask, but the jelly formula really hydrates my skin. Sometimes charcoal can strip my skin, but this doesn’t do that at all. This is a great face wash to use when your pores are feeling congested and dull, and I highly recommend it to everyone, especially those with normal to oily skin!

Let me know if you’ve tried this jelly ball cleanser out!

Glowingly yours,

Jess
