Hello everyone! I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted, but I have been traveling with my dad and twin sisters across Europe! I have been taking a million pictures, so I thought I would post a bunch of my favorite ones from each leg of our journey! Here are my pictures from two days in Manchester and three days in London, enjoy!
We stayed with my one of my dad’s oldest friends (Ian) in his beautiful home in Manchester. Ian’s wife Claire had the most impeccable style, and her home decor was perfection. Here are some details of the home that I just could not get over!
She had these monkey lamps all over the house and I fell in love!
These are all menus from Claire and Ian’s favorite restaurants, signed by the staff. They are huge romantics and the house is filled with little things like this!
Almost every room had an adorable fireplace in it.
Here is Ian and his son Robbie showing us around the city’s center.
The Tudor house we visited had all of these hedges around, and they were covered in this large snails, I had never seen anything like it!
Now we move to London! We did a lot of very tourist-y things the first day, and spent the next few days shopping and wandering around the SoHo area.
In the London Tower there were all these small instances of the stone patterns changing, and I loved every bit of it!
We have been drinking a lot of Rosè.
This was my favorite place we went to, Wardour News! I have a post coming up soon all about the different magazines I bought there.
Delicious rosemary bread!
I also found myself loving all of the different door and entry ways all around London.
On our last day in London we went to high tea at Fortnum & Mason, and I obsessed over the blue china and finger sandwiches.
Another one of my favorite places was the famous Harrod’s store. I took so many pictures in there, mostly of the perfumes and beauty products that I rarely get to see in person.
The Versace home display really got to me.
Next stop; Scotland and Ireland!
Glowingly yours,
Jess
