Uninterrupted, Re-Introduced

Welcome back Uninterrupted! The classic, cult favorite MAC shadow is back and I couldn’t be happier. When I first began getting into make up, this shade had just been discontinued, and I was constantly trying to find the perfect dupe for my Z-Palette. That search kickstarted my love for all things ugly mustard yellow/brown. Shades like this are so unique and eye catching to me, and they really take a warm eye look to a different level.

I feel that over the past year or two MAC has dropped off a bit, maybe it was the constant collection releases or the availability of more affordable make up of the same quality. I wasn’t paying much attention to the brand anymore, but when I saw this Throwbacks release, I knew I needed to finally get my hands on Uninterrupted. So was it everything I dreamed of? Yes! The shade is the perfect balance of yellow and brown, it pulls just neutral enough to compliment so many different skin tones and eye looks. The quality of MAC matte shadows has always impressed me, and this one feels even softer and blendable than their previous shades.

So how do I like to wear a color like this? I dust some of it in the crease and out corner paired with a deep bronze shade all over the lid, then smudge some metallic brown liner on my lash line to make everything look a little bit messy and blown out. Pair it with a nude gloss and some gold highlight and you have the perfect warm weather smokey look!
