Glossier Perfecting Skin Tints

“More Skin, Less Makeup”

Medium, Light

I can’t believe I’ve never done a review dedicated to the Glossier Perfecting Skin Tints! I have been using and loving this product for over 2 years now, and I cannot recommend it enough to people who want a very sheer amount of coverage. When my skin is behaving nicely, but I still want a little color in my base, I always reach for these Skin Tints. I have both Light and Medium shades, and I usually end up mixing a bit of both together to get my perfect color. Because the product is so subtle and sheer, color matching isn’t difficult at all, and I would usually consider the shade Light a perfect match, but I like to add a few drops of Medium to give myself the appearance of a tan.

The consistency of these is very watery and thin, and the finish is a subtle satin matte. I love pairing this with my dewier concealers and my Glossier Wowder loose face powder. I tend to stay away from this foundation when I am having a particularly bad skin day, just because it doesn’t offer much coverage and I don’t like pairing this with a very heavy concealer, it doesn’t blend naturally. This is one of my favorite bases to use with cream cheek products like liquid blush and bronzer, it gives the perfect canvas to blend color into.

I have been meaning to try this out for the longest time but I never quite hit the purchase button. This skin tint just seems like the perfect coverage for the days when I just want to even out my skin tone and look a bit more refreshed. I think it is the price that puts me off but it does seem like such a great product for those lighter days.
